Jack and Jill Children’s Center mission is to break the cycle of poverty for children of high need working families through quality early childhood education and family strengthening programs.
Founded in 1942 by the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale, Jack & Jill Children’s Center started as a day-care for women whose husbands went to war and now needed to enter the workforce. We proudly serve as the Junior League’s oldest and longest running Legacy Project.
Jack & Jill Children’s Center is the oldest nonprofit provider of early childhood education in Broward county.
Hope Floats partners with high-quality swim schools to provide scholarships for swimming lessons for children living in poverty. Hope Floats raises money by partnering with individuals, businesses, and foundations that want to be a force for good in their communities. Scholarships and tuition assistance is provided to children living in poverty, who might not otherwise be able to afford swim lessons.
