After a long stretch of virtual meetings and the occasional outdoor, drive by “event” during the pandemic, SFLMOMS was excited to *officially* return to in-person meetings and events (woo hoo! ?). We started with our super fun Halloween Bash-turned-fundraiser. Our other big family events were our Holiday Party at the Cox Science Center and Spring EGGstravaganza on Fort Lauderdale Beach.
We had MoMs’ Nights Out at Tatts and Tacos, Axe Throwing Society, and Duffy’s Grill, plus we had a fun wine exchange for Galentine’s Day. We had playdates or group events at Sugar Sand Park, Lion Country Safari, Palm Beach Zoo, Universal Studios, and Disney on Ice. (And a whole lot more that’s too much to list here!)
We collected baby supplies for local charity Fish Mending Nets, and, together with Multiples of Florida, raised money for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. And by the end of the year, we had grown to 85 members (plus 9 prospective).
