If your kids are as popsicle obsessed as mine, these smoothie pops will be a huge hit. They are a super fun and healthy snack, or even breakfast. This is less of a recipe and more of a method. Add whatever you like to put into your smoothies! I like to add flaxseed and protein powder to make them more filling, so the kids are not hungry 10 seconds later. The vanilla protein also adds a nice, dessert-like flavor.
Green Smoothie Pops
1 banana, fresh or frozen
1 apple, peeled and chopped
About 1 cup baby spinach
About 1/3 cup frozen pineapple
About 1/2 cup coconut water, coconut milk, or any milk you prefer
3 Tbsp. flaxseed, whole or ground Scoop of your favorite vanilla flavored protein powder
Blend all ingredients together and pour into popsicle molds. Freeze for a few hours until set and enjoy!! That’s it!
