Leigh’s Corner

If you’re anything like me, I like a variety of activities to keep my little ones’ hands engaged year round. Despite living in South Florida, I still love to read about and discuss the winter months with my two. Yes, they have seen their first snow, but only as infants so they don’t have much background knowledge about winter and snow in the North. I have put together a list below of activities for several age groups that you may modify and adapt to best fit the needs of your children. Several of these activities will overlap into different age groups so you can fine tune or enrich as you see fit. Please be sure to check out each link to ensure you have the proper materials. I am a very low maintenance, low prep type of gal, so I tried to select activities using items that you most likely already have in your household. Tis the season to be freezing…said no one ever in South Florida!
